Whatever your time, skills, or passions, there's an opportunity here for you to ignite change in the lives of children and their families. Your gifts expand the possibilities and help Nabor House support each family better, continue to grow our current programs, open new learning centers and offer continued training and resources to our staff.

Become a Weekday volunteer:

Classroom Helper:

Build relationships with the children in one classroom through participation in learning activities and creative arts planned by the classroom teacher.

Orientation and background check required.

P.A.L. (Pray, Affirm, Love):

Commit to a set time and day each week to spend one-on-one time visiting with, playing and talking to a child.

Circle Time Buddy

Commit a set time and day each week to spend time visiting with a group of 2 to 3 children, reading and doing interactive literacy kits.

Garden Keeper

If you have a passion for gardening and working with children, we would love to have you! We currently have two gardens that needs managing regularly. This volunteer opportunity will involve managing the garden with children and can also be done without children. Please be advised that closed toed shoes, and clothing that you don't mind getting a little dirty is a must.

Become a Weekend volunteer:

1st Saturday volunteer opportunity - Nabor House Community hosts a volunteer workday on the 1st Saturday of every month, 9:00 a.m. – noon,  to prepare literacy kits and other classroom materials to support developmentally appropriate lesson plans.

CSM (Center for Student Missions) groups added new vegetable gardens. Students have enjoyed growing and eating vegetables!
