Maday Gonzalez Redd
Maday Gonzalez Redd is a first-generation Cuban American born and raised in Miami, FL. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Florida International University and later earned a Master’s degree in business. Maday has worked for Stoller Group since 2010 and held an Associate General Manager position before fully transitioning to the charitable arm of the business, Stoller Foundation, in October 2017.
Throughout the years, she has also served with several ministry groups and nonprofits in various areas and capacities. One of her joys and passion is to work among a community serving others. “For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.” Galatians 5:13 Maday currently attends the Community of Faith church and lives in the Houston area with her husband Travis and small dog Hercules.
Lou Palma is retired from the Executive Director position at Boys and Girls Country of Houston. He has worked in the field of child and family development and child welfare for over 45 years, based from 3 different states. Over half of that tenure was spent in leadership positions including Executive Director and CEO.
‘Mr. Lou’, as the kids and families called him, received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Nebraska at the Omaha campus and earned his Master’s Degree at Kansas University’s Lawrence campus in Human Development. He is also a Veteran of the United States Army. While in Nevada he served on the Governor’s Maternal Health Commission. Mr. Lou is currently retired in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He has many Bible verse favorites but is especially partial to, “Mark 12:29-31. The greatest is...you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and all your soul, and with all your mind and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. The second is like this, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself”. There is no other commandment greater than these”.
Jeannine Powers is the Handyman Manager of LBJ Construction, a residential general contracting company in Houston that provides remodeling and handyman services. She has grown the division to over a $1M in annual sales.
As part of LBJ Construction, Jeannine has participated in several Greater Houston Builder’s Association charity events. She enjoys getting her “hands dirty” and putting her handyman skills to use in serving the greater community. She is married with three grown children and enjoys riding her horse in her free time.
Jeannine’s favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:8. “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
Nardia Leonce is the Founder & CEO of OptimHR Services an HR consulting firm specializing in helping small to midsize businesses optimize their HR processes and develop data driven solutions to minimize human capital costs while increasing productivity. Previously, Nardia worked for a Fortune 500 company as a Human Resources Manager where she focused on improving employee productivity, HR compliance, and implementing HR strategy aligned with business initiatives. Nardia is also a certified John Maxwell Team Speaker, Coach & Trainer and a certified DISC Behavioral Analysis Consultant. She believes that adding value to others will help others to add value to others which will multiply and impact the world.
Nardia has always had a passion for serving others in the community. She has been involved in several other non-profit groups and ministries where she can serve women and children. She currently resides in Baytown, TX with her family and enjoys reading, outdoors, and traveling.
Nardia’s favorite bible verse is Proverbs 3: 5, 6 (NASB) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
